Survey questions and responses should not contain:
- Technical data is information of any kind that can be used, or adapted for use, in the design, production, manufacture, repair, overhaul, processing, engineering, development, operation, maintenance, use, or reconstruction of articles or materials. Forms of technical data include blueprints, drawings, specifications, plans, instructions, documentation, operating and maintenance manuals, factory tours, oral discussions, training programs and software. Information that provides only a description of a commodity and its general information which does not exceed that normally included in sales brochures or marketing data sheets and is readily available to the public (including competitors) at trade shows or other public events normally does not constitute technical data. A reasonable "rule-of-thumb" you may use in helping evaluate whether or not information is technical data is whether or not you would readily provide this information to a competitor.
- Sensitive non-technical Military Engines or Space program information specified by your Program Management Office or BAER. |
